Global Drops are everything you are going to see on the "item log" in your tradeskill page.
For each tradeskill attempt, there is a chance (1%, before any boosts) for a variety of items to drop, including: 1 gem, 1 key, 1-5 relics, 6-35 relics, 1 resource bag, gold, magic elements and items. Each of these items has their own chance to drop, which you can see here.
